The Medium Book Case is designed to bring order to everyday surroundings. Sized to A5, it is ideal for organizing small piles of clutter on desks or shelves, or for storing personal objects you want close at hand yet carefully contained. From notebooks and letters to cherished belongings, it offers a simple way to create calm and structure.
Originally inspired by antique book cases used to protect one’s most valuable books, the design is August Sandgren’s most iconic. It carries forward a tradition of thoughtful storage, where form, function, and craftsmanship are inseparable.
Clad in Mismo’s A Lovely Land jacquard, the design gains a new layer of character. The fabric brings quiet depth and tactility, nodding to tradition while remaining distinctly contemporary. Subtle leather details in soft, OekoTex-certified aniline leather from Sørensen Leather add a refined material contrast. Durable, structured, and richly textured, it is made to be used, kept, and appreciated over time.

VAT discount
The price stated on www.mismo.dk is the full retail price including Danish VAT. The price does not include possible import taxes that may differ from country to country.
To compensate for these import charges, Mismo offers a 20% VAT discount at checkout for all our non-EU customers. This discount will automatically be applied when typing in a non-EU billing & delivery address.
The VAT discount that Mismo provides is more or less equivalent to the actual import taxes faced at delivery. The forwarding company, Fedex or DHL, will charge these import taxes.
Please note that any possible shipping cost, being standard or express service, do not include import costs that may be due when the package reaches the country of destination.

We offer free domestic (Denmark) shipping on all orders and free shipping within the EU on orders above €400. Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout when meeting the order minimum. Express shipping can be added at checkout. Shipping rates are otherwise as listed below:

Choosing express shipping will usually see orders delivered within 1-2 days in Europe and 2-3 days on International orders. Please note that some countries, remote cities, or islands may have longer delivery times.
Shipping times for standard service in Scandinavia are 1-3 business days, Europe 2-5 days and 4-7 days for North American, Asian orders. Please use our shipping times as a guide. Some countries may experience extended shipping times due to worldwide shipping congestions. Mismo takes no responsibility for delays in customs processes outside the EU. If you are in need of a time definite reception of you order, we strongly advise to opt for the Express shipping.
Order before 14:00 CET for same-day shipping. Once shipped, we will email a shipping confirmation including a link and tracking number, for you to easily follow the order.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of receipt.
EU customers can easily return or exchange items through our return portal. Simply enter your order details, choose your preferred option, and follow the steps.
For non-EU customers, returns can also be initiated through the portal. Exchange requests are currently handled separately - please contact our support team for assistance.
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

A carefully composed blend of recycled nylon, polyester, and cotton lends both structure and tactility.
