The M/S Rucksack is designed to meet the emerging demand for a hands-free everyday companion that will hold all the necessities of a day out on the town – with style. Following the success of the M/S Backpack, we wanted to introduce a version that would echo many of the same design principles, while offering slimmer proportions and a cross-gender appeal with plenty of options for personalised styling.
The M/S Rucksack can be flexibly adjusted according to space utilisation by unbuttoning the leather strap and rolling the top flaps together, or by bending the flap down and fasten the sailor hook to one of the four D-rings on the front. The rucksack is designed with two deep and easily accessible open front pockets as well as a zipped exterior rear compartment for magazines, a tablet or an 11” laptop. The inside boasts a padded laptop compartment to the back and a leather zipped pocket to the front with two open slide-down pockets placed below.

VAT discount
The price stated on www.mismo.dk is the full retail price including Danish VAT. The price does not include possible import taxes that may differ from country to country.
To compensate for these import charges, Mismo offers a 20% VAT discount at checkout for all our non-EU customers. This discount will automatically be applied when typing in a non-EU billing & delivery address.
The VAT discount that Mismo provides is more or less equivalent to the actual import taxes faced at delivery. The forwarding company, Fedex or DHL, will charge these import taxes.
Please note that any possible shipping cost, being standard or express service, do not include import costs that may be due when the package reaches the country of destination.

Shipping
We offer free domestic (Denmark) shipping on all orders and free shipping within the EU on orders above €400. Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout when meeting the order minimum. Express shipping can be added at checkout. Shipping rates are otherwise as listed below:

Choosing express shipping will usually see orders delivered within 1-2 days in Europe and 2-3 days on International orders. Please note that some countries, remote cities, or islands may have longer delivery times.
Shipping times for standard service in Scandinavia are 1-3 business days, Europe 2-5 days and 4-7 days for North American, Asian orders. Please use our shipping times as a guide. Some countries may experience extended shipping times due to worldwide shipping congestions. Mismo takes no responsibility for delays in customs processes outside the EU. If you are in need of a time definite reception of you order, we strongly advise to opt for the Express shipping.
Order before 14:00 CET for same-day shipping. Once shipped, we will email a shipping confirmation including a link and tracking number, for you to easily follow the order.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of receipt.
EU customers can easily return or exchange items through our return portal. Simply enter your order details, choose your preferred option, and follow the steps.
For non-EU customers, returns can also be initiated through the portal. Exchange requests are currently handled separately - please contact our support team for assistance.
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Main Material
A mainstay of the MISMO collection, our Army Canvas has remained a signature since its introduction in 2008. Its grounded blend of grey, green and brown carries a distinct sense of heritage, recalling open landscapes, weathered field jackets and enduring utility. Woven from cotton and nylon, it combines the natural tactility of cotton with the strength and resilience of nylon. A soft backing adds body and structure while allowing the fabric to retain its characteristic natural drape.Composition: PA 70% - CO 30%

Solid brass w. varnish protection
Our hardware is built around solid brass, chosen for its strength, durability and substantial feel. A protective finish creates a consistent surface while helping prevent the brass from oxidising with use and exposure.Many of the components have been part of the MISMO collection for more than 15 years, selected and refined through years of regular use. We favour simple, proven constructions over unnecessary complexity - from buckles and rivets to the distinctive sailor hooks found across many of our designs.
Soft-touch olive lining
Woven from a durable blend of polyester and viscose, this dark olive lining combines strength with a soft, tactile handfeel, providing a resilient and refined interior across our fabric bags.
Full grain bridle leather - Dark brown
Our full-grain bridle leather is chosen for the parts of a bag that see the most handling and wear. Strong and substantial, it provides structure and durability to handles, straps and trimmings while retaining the natural character of the hide. Custom-developed for MISMO in Turkey, the leather is finished to achieve a rich, consistent color and a smooth surface that helps resist moisture and everyday exposure. With use, it will gradually soften and develop a distinctive patina.
Hand polished YKK Excella zippers
Renowned Japanese company YKK has been producing zippers since 1934. We exclusively use their best zipper available, the Excella zippers. The YKK Excella is the Rolls Royce of zippers, with every element, down to the teeth, perfected and hand-polished. A smooth zipper is indispensable to a well-made bag, after all it should add utility, beauty and longevity to the bag rather than taking away from it.
