The Legacy Collection promises a line of sturdy cotton canvas bags that will stylishly accompany you as you navigate through life, whether casually dressed for urban exploration or for adventures at remote retreats in nature’s great outdoors.
To many people the true legacy of MISMO is a cotton canvas bag. A mainstay of the MISMO collection, the army cotton canvas paired with dark brown leather was the first color combination launched when we introduced bags combining fabric and leather back in 2008. A feature that helped bring MISMO bags to international attention at renown fashion and concept stores, such as Dover Street Market, Colette and 10 Corso Como.
The army color and the tactility of the cotton canvas – these days paired with either dark brown or cuoio bridle leather - offers a sense of authenticity and old-world charm that is hard to replicate, and the fabric’s water-repellent coating helps create a luxurious patina over time. Casual yet sophisticated, the army cotton canvas with its earthy tones of grey, green and brown is a true wardrobe staple.
The army canvas fabric was originally developed for the Italian military, underlining the durability and aesthetics of this fine and tight-woven canvas
