What first started off as a gastro-project on the small danish island of Bornholm, was imported to and became quite the fine dining success in Copenhagen, with a delicate take on the new nordic kitchen. The one-starred Michelin restaurant is located in the Christianshavn area, an area characterized by its vibrant architectural mixture of the hippie-town Christiania´s buildings, restored waterfront warehouses and the beautiful baroque architecture that dominates the neighborhood.
Besides residing amongst Copenhagen´s top dining addresses, the venue is also splendidly decorated paying homage to danish furniture craftsmanship, offering Kadeau´s very own charming and exquisite food experience. This experience features a small and cozy 8-table seating room, open kitchen view and food consisting of locally-grown ingredients, that have been fermented/salted/dried and concentrated during the seasons, where they are served the best.
The driving forces behind Kadeau´s success are childhood friends Nicolai Nørregaard (Head chef), Rasmus Kofoed and Magnus Koefoed, as well the day-to-day main chef and forthcoming "Bocuse d´Or" contender, Morten Falk. A little bonus info is that the danish music darling, Lukas Graham, is now a share-owner, with upwards to 20% shares in the little gastro-empire.
